Hi people, I´m looking for an engine, found a 361 industrial engine from a Cement mover truck. ID plate says: C4PB-6005(I guess that is the casting number of the block)
thats a stationary engine , used in water pumps. it will work in a FT application just fine . but you will need to ditch the intake manifold. what are your plans for it?
find a set of FE heads for it, they are interchageable and let you use fe intakes and have bigger valves. plus i dont think there is really any aftermarket intakes for a ft.
I´m on Buenos Aires, Argentina. here is no many V8, people(and automotive market) was more friendly with 6 cylinders. Most of V8 here are "y block" and an engine called "Phase II", it´s the same 292 from 1959 but Ford of Argentina made some changes, most important are: firing order changed(can´t remember now), Exhaust manifolds, and some changes to the valves and intake manifold.
Also a bunch of 302 from USA Rangers are resting in farms, shops garages etc. because the owners swap the engines for diesel ones. BUt there is no enough FE engines. the only FEs was in 1959-60 trucks like F600 ad F900. maybe I can use parts of that engine to make the head swap?
Also I have a 65 hardtop Mustang(still project car) and an Argentinian 80s Falcon.
