Factory caulking
I have an 87 E-150 and have been very aggravated in the rust caused by the factory caulking. Everywhere it is I have major penetrating rust. Is this a common problem? It seems like it would be.
So needless to say I have rust holes on almost every seam I can find.
Just wondering if anyone else has this problem, very frustrating.

I had some minor problems with my 79 but i know what you mean. I have it in places like in the fire wall area, and my driprails. I pick all of the calk out so you can sandblast in to the seam as far as you can. then put a good paint or primer over it like rust zero or por15. Then fill the area with water prof automotive calk.
