i have a c6 from a 6.9l diesel and was wondering if that trans would fit a 6.6l 351m any help

let me be a little clear i have a 351m 5.8l that needs a trans for swap into a 1986 f350 that had a 351w and wanted to know if a c6 from a 6.9l diesel out 0fa 86 f350 deisel would fit a 351m

diesel trans will only fit a diesel.

thanks for the info but what year trans will fit from what motors is it a c6 for 351m only fits the 351m or is there an inter change

I usually refer to TCI Auto's website. They list their trannies and what years they fit and such

351M, 400, 429, 460 are all the same bell housing pattern. Probably some others that I have forgotten.
