Fordomatic Neutral switch
I've got one of the early Fordomatic auto. trans(53-56). Does anybody have a working neutral safety switch or know who still sells them? Or has anyone come up with working in a modern switch from a electrical supplier? I appreciate any help or advice.

I too have a fordomatic and have gone through a few switches. Although it has been about 14 years since I purchased one, I had no problem getting them at the local parts dealer. I believe they used the same for a number of years. Your best bet would be rural area parts store - out in farm country.

The one on my 55 Fairlane was a little tempremental. I took it off and rotated it several times. It works much better now. The replacements are very pricey on Ebay. Let me know if you find a good source. Jag
