how do you.....

take off the steering column cover with the shifter and boot? My overdrive cancel switch isn't working so i'm going to see if the wires are frayed. Thanks

Unscrew the tilt lever. Look up underneath the steering column cover, there are 4 holes, but only 3 contain screws. Remove the 3 screws. You can now just seperate the two halves of the steering column cover and remove them.
