Torsion bar question???

On my stock 2002 Screw 4X4 --- I'm going to crank the torsion ars to level the front..... I crawled under the truck and noticed the passenger side adjustment bolt is already cranked 3/4 of the way up; while the driver side barley has been turned much at all..... Now both sides are the same height because I measured both fender wells..... I have had the truck since mile 1.... Any ideas why one is noticably cranked more than the other? Can I still adjust it?

They all are different on each side. On my 01 I cranked it up to level it.
Jack the front up and put it on jack stands so there is no load on the suspension.

On my truck I turned the torsion bar bolts 3 full turns at first, this got it real close to that I wanted.

Let the truck down and drive it a few miles to cycle the suspension.
Park it on a level surface and find a reference point on either side of the vehicle to measure from. I found the pass side 1/2 in lower (each truck will be different).

I put it back on jack stands and turned the pass side bolt another half turn.

It's easy to do, but don't go more than 2-2 1/2 in or you will get too much of an angle on the CV joints and the boot will eventually tear.

Pay close attention to your tire wear, you may need an alignment after you're done, mine was OK afterward.
