well I've looked at hood scoops for my truck. They make hood scoops that will fit it's a general size and stuff. You might have to do some shaving to get it to fit right but it'll be worth it. I saw a Chevy that was lifted and had a cowl induction hood scoop and it looked really cool. Were you looking at a fiberglass or plastic scoop?
I've seen someone use a mustang scoop. I think it was from the mid-80s and seemed to fit well.
The other idea is to make one from clay, then make a fiberglass reverse mold from that and then make the final one from the reverse mold.
