I have the stailess handles. They are great. They are 2+ years old. Man o Man do they stick. You would have to use a heat gun to get them off. The putco plastic ones are crap. I have one on the tailgate. It is all pitted and peeling. I have the stainless one here to be put on this weekend. As far a heat, I have not had any issues with that at all.
jetact,
Nice billet door handles. Where did you get yours?
Also, do you, or anybody else here know if these billet door handles are any more theft-proof than the factory POS plastic versions? Mine are both cracked due to an attempted break-in.
RocketScience,
I ordered mine through 4 wheel parts. I think they would be better due to them not being able to break. They can still punch out the locks. But if you are sure you will never need a key and have a remote plus a keypad you can get them all without key cylinders.
Thanks everyone. I decided on the Stainless covers, got em off Ebay for under 1 bill for the entire set (incl'd tailgate handle). I just put them on and they look great.
