turn signal problem
I have a '80 F150 w/tilt wheel. When I flip the turn signal lever, all the signal lights begin to flash. It acts as if I'd flipped on the hazard lights. Has anyone else run into this and what did you do to take care of the situation?

Have you been hanging your key chain on the stalk? Is the stalk loose. What about your high beams? Your column switch seems to be bad. The switch is made of plastic and little bits of copper i've had 2 of these go bad on different vehicles. One seemed to explode in a billion peices the other just stopped working. Only way to replace them is pull the wheel.

i found the problem. i added the hookup for trailer light a few years ago, and the cable insulation was all worn away. the wires were all tangled together, so, i just cut the whole thing off. they work fine now
