How hard is this????
Ok guys and gals here is the deal. I have a 72 F100 2wd at my disposal and it is in desperate need of a new powerplant and tranny. It has a 360/C6 combo. This engine and tranny have been run to death and I doubt they will make it commuting to work this summer. Anyways, I was thinking about a hopped up 390 to replace the dogged 360 until a friend mentioned that he had a 460/C6 combo he was willing to sell. I drove the vehicle that the 460 came out of and its plenty nutty. So Im wondering if Im going to need to make my perches and motor mounts or if there are some other ones that will fit. I know this conversion is quite possible with the 73-79 pickups but Im not sure about the 67-72 years. Thanks for the help
