Ice fishing! And if it busts through, what's the loss?

The closeup of those tracks really gets my thinker to working...a few wheelbarrow tires, some rubber....it'd work.

I have to wonder if his priorities are right, though- Working a/c, but needs a heater core? Last time I checked, it only snows when it's cold out.

I will give the guy credit. I don't know that I would have built that, I would think about building a 4x4 truck version though.

I've made "skis" that attach to the front tires of cars. Add a set of chains on the driven wheels and voila!
The skis on the front are really good for jumping pressure cracks in the ice where the wheels would dig in and, well.... stop you.

We used to do this to take old vehicles to our summer cottage on an island 25 miles out in Lake Huron.

Definitely not something you'll see everyday. Looks good if you use it for what it's designed for.

THere used to be one of these http://www.greenbackfishing.com/bomb...dier%20006.jpg Around here a few years back. I think one would be a blast to tool around on an icefishing lake.
