I've been watching the Simpson's since the Allman Show and still love it. Funny to see Marge driving from the wrong side of car though! Thanks for the link!

Not bad, I think they did the Simpsons justice. Seems so different in real life, though. I wonder if the series would have lasted so long if it really was live action-

Man! they totally nailed it, swap the crappy european cars for crappy american cars and you got a perfect "live action" of that introduction.

In one episode this guy said Homer's car was built in Eastern Europe out of parts from old Soviet tanks. Ergo, crappy European car.
Not sure about Marge though.
