question about a new ford
my friend is buying a new truck tommarow and he needs to know the ACTUAL mpg of a 2006 f-150 with a 5.4 auto 4x4
or
2004 f150 5.4 auto 4x2

There is no way we can tell you what the ACTUAL is, because it varies from driver to driver, altitude, season, driving habits, cab/bed configuration, etc. The EPA window results are a safe bet. Ive always gotten higher than them, some get lower.

i don't know about you but mpg is not a deal breaker. I laugh when some people bitch about mileage from a truck. Your buying a truck, if you want good mileage buy a honda civic. I'm not saying your bitching, but it's funny how people put so much on mileage.
