Wow, suddenly my own thread has begun to contradict EVERYTHING I so profusely try to discourage. Maybe I need to get back to cutting up a Bronco body and pulling an E4OD.
Despite common misconceptions about the UK we do actually have lorries (trucks) over here to haul goods now. But we do have a few Dray Waggons about that are horse drawn for county shows etc. We're getting quite sofisticated actually.... the concept of a digital watch is no longer so novel!

Well, I guess my link to FSB wasn't allowed. ANother site I refer to on t-cases is truckpulls.com, but they are down at this time. In any event, the change was in the output shafts' style of flange for the driveshafts, so you may need to swap flanges if they are not the same on the 92 and 95. Another style of shifter linkage was also used on some of the t-cases. I've seen the same thing on the earliere AOD/B-W13-56 combos. A salvage yard friend told me that, another one confirmed it, and I found both styles in different junk Broncos. The shifter linkage and brackets are the hardest to find, so you want to check fitment when swapping t-cases. Good luck, JSM84

I've got the shift linkage for the manual from the 95 and the output flange appears to be the same unless the bolt pattern changed. When it stops raining long enough for me to get from the house to the garage without drowning I'll double check everything. I do know that the output SHAFT diameter changed but it was earlier than 92. I came into the T-case from the 95 because another member was attempting the same swap on an 88 and the output shaft diameter on the older T-cases is .020 smaller than the newer units so his flange, yoke, whatever wouldn't slip over the splines of the newer model t-case.

Correct, sometime around 87/88, the output shafts changed size and went from 30 splines to 31. I think you'll be safe with the 92-96 model, if they are the same version. It looks like there's as many as six of the B-W 13-56 instead of two. And if you've had enough rain, send some down here to Texas, JSM84

We are finally getting our first REAL rain here since the beginning of Feb. so I know what you mean. Got a day off today so I'm gonna double check the fit of a lot of things before I get any further into this project.

I have a '87 Bronco B/W 1356 mated to a '92 E4OD, no splining problems or bolting problems, with the exception of the spacer i had to fabricate for the long shaft of the 2wd trans.

Its not the tranny-to-t-case that is the problem usually. Its the fit of the rear D/S flange to the T-case that is the problem.
