The square black cube relays are usually rated for 20-30 amps. Your 130W lights will draw a hair over 10 amps each, worst case. Have you been looking at the little rectangular relays with 8 pins? Those are usually good for 4 or 5 amps, which seems to be what you are descibing. Most parts stores sell the bigger ones, for stuff like fog lights.

Head over to you local Radio Shack store. Tell the clerk you want a 12v automotive relay. It is a black box relay with a mounting hole at the top. It is rated for 30 amps. Which is 360 Watts.

That's kind of an odd number for a relay. Relays are descibed with volts and amps, and 55W bulbs are really common for fog lights. Wonder if that's a cheap relay for a pair of 55W fog lights? It probably is at least a 25 amp.

Most places will carry a 30 amp relay. I bought several off of ebay a while back just to have for odd projects here and there. A 30A relay will work great. I wouldn't hook more than 2 lights to one relay, actually I'd probably run each light on its own relay anyway. just my .02
