Headman Elite Headers

Does anyone have any experience with Headman Elite series headers? They look like a good quality header, much thicker flanges and tubes along with a "thermal coating". I'm considering getting a set for my 79 F100 5.0. Just looking for some feedback. Thanks!

I'm also trying to get a set of headers, and those are one of the two I'm looking at. They have them on summitracing.com for a decent price w/ free shipping. They should work fine with your 302, but have you ever looked at summits headers? Look just as good, just cheaper.

I saw the Summit headers, the ones I saw were'nt ceramic coated and I think they had thinner flanges and tubes. I already have a set of painted Headmans and was considering sending them out to be ceramic coated but would probably cost more vs. just buying the Elite series. The Elite's have a 3/8 thick flange and use 14ga for the tubes. The ones I have now have a 5/16 thick flange and use 18ga for the tubes.

I don't know why I said summit headers, sorry about that, the Dynomax headers.(don't know what I was thinking). They cost $250 for a ceramic coated set.

Check how much it cost to coat them, there are a couple company's that do that, and that would prolly be the cheaper route.
