429 engine mounts

429 engine mounts
I'm currently rebuilding a 429 and I am planning on putting it in a 53-56 truck, but I came across a 50 F1 in good shape. I haven't found any engine mounts for a 429 into a 1950 F1. Will it even fit?

First, welcome to the FTE forum. You'll find a lot of good folks here willing to help.
As I understand the 429 and 460 are both termed "385 series" blocks. They should be pretty much the same block. There was a thread back started back on Feb 5th that asked about putting a 460 in a 48 - 52. The thread was started by Evans1505. You can go back and look that up in the archive and get a good sampling of opinion on the subject. Bottom line, it can be done. Good luck, and again, welcome.
