E4od Help Needed
Hi folks,
I have a 94 Flareside 5.0 E4OD 4x4. I love this truck. Last fall I reeplaced the engine with one from Jasper and its running good with over 500 miles on it. At the time of the engine swap I replace the tranny filter and replace the fluid including the torque convertor. I now am getting slip when I mash the pedel. If I take off lightly its fine but when it kicksdown the engine just revs up and the trans seems to slip. I think a new tranny is inevitable. but am hoping it is a sensor issue or something simple. Also during the swap I installed shorty headers & a throttle body spacer. Any help would be appreciated.
