as i said, once i find my paper on the jfk assassination, ill post it up for you all. i had 2 weeks for research prep for this paper and that wasn't enough. i had a source that knew his stuff and had information i had never even heard of. i am still amazed when i read the crap they did to cover things up.

Is our government perfect? heck no! have they, in the past, kept things from the population? you bet. in WWII, casualty figures were kept from the public so as not to hurt the war effort.

Is there a government anywhere else on the planet better or more open than the one we have? Heck no!

Is the United States of America perfect? Not by a long shot, but we are second to no one on this earth. Just one man's two cents worth.

I can't fathom that we still have people wanting to believe such an utterly lame conspiracy, especially one such as this with made up "facts."

Here's some truth:

ken--the videos that i looked at when flash first posted this--only presented things from a engineers standpoint--didnt accuse anyone--just stated why did this happen--such as why did the building beside the twin towers collapse, when it was hit by nothing---things like that present a far different view of the happenings--and are you saying that there arent crooked levels in our government????? and i read about the skull and cross bones also--you saying all that is lies also--

You use that site as "information?" LOL!

"WARNING!!! YOU MUST READ THIS!!! Klaxon, the internet Chicken Little, raises the alarm for each and every paranoid conspiracy theory, Federal Big-Brother scheme, internet hoax, and latest computer virus. No black helicopter alert is so ludicrous, no urban legend so implausible, that he will not pass it along as accepted fact (in ALL CAPS with multiple exclamation marks). Congratulations, you are recipient 16,747 of today's Urban Myth. CAUTION: Often Klaxon knowingly posts false alarms to foment mischief."

Once again we rake this subject over the coles. Do all of the people who support this theory really believe that there are that many people in the government that would be apart of commiting mass murder and destruction. Let me tell you what I know of people in the Government. I know a great deal of people who work in government, some at the highest levels. They are people like you and I, who are normal everyday people trying their best to protect and serve. Any Idea how large of a conspiracy this would have to be in order to pull this off? You really believe that there are that many evil masterminds at work here? The videos that the FBI confiscated, the same ones the conspiracy video refers too, my brother has seen them all many times. When I asked him a year or so ago about these supposed conspiracies he assured me that there was no such conspiracy except the one by islamic extremists to attack the U.S. and undermine the government confidence. It seems that the extremist and their allies are enjoying some success with their conspiracy, seeing how many of you tend to believe everything they hear from everyone except those who know what they are talking about.
By the way, nice post Ken.

The one that impressed me the most was "In Plane Site". I don't know what happened to the folks on the second airplane to hit the towers but the plane was not a passenger airplane but a miltary cargo plane painted to look like a passenger aircraft. I can't imagine anybody getting on a passenger airplane that didn't have windows.
Actually, that's an urban legend. One man said he didn't see any windows. There were pieces of fuselage found in the wreckage of flight 175. And there are photos of itsee? Windows.

The Pentagon was most obviuosly not hit by a 757. Where are the engines? They are made from titanium. Jet fuel burns at 1800F, titantium melts at 8000F. So, where are the engines?
Once again, myth. The engines were there, and in fact one of the titanium turbines was recovered nearly intact. The engines were badly damaged but they are one of the few things that were very recognizable in the debris.
How do you get an aircraft that is almost 250' wide thru a 19' hole? How do you manage to not break the glass in the windows above the hole- the tail section would have destroyed that part of the building?
Because the airplane is roughly 17 ft wide. The wingspan may have been 250 FT, but that's not where the mass of the plane is. The main fuel tank, passengers, cargo, equipment, are all in the fuselage which is like a sausage skin holding all of that mass in one place as the plane flies through the air. The hole in the Pentagon is exactly what would be expected to happen if a loaded jetliner were to hit a hardened, reinforced concrete fortress like the pentagon. This doesent look like shrapnel from a missle to me.....looks like PLANE WRECKAGE.

Why did so many military folks say they smelled pyrotechnics after the crash? From an engineers perspective- all of the 911 doesn't make any sense. The towers fell too quickly- unless they were imploded or normal physics took a holiday. And why did building 7 collapse at 5 PM when it wasn't even hit by anything? Looked like a normal implosion to me. Far too many questions with no respectable answers.
Is popular mechanics and a team of 9 independent researchers and engineers enough for you? How about the bi-partisan 9/11 commision? They found absolutely ZERO evidence to support anything other than what the nation saw unfold on T.V. Not a shred.
Here's a link to Popular Mechanic's exhaustive study that should answer all of your questions in more detail than you probably wanthttp://www.popularmechanics.com/scie...tml?page=3&c=y

Armorer,

It's nice that you attempted to reply to this subject matter with some facts but those that want to believe in something bad enough will not be deterred by the facts. The original video link looked to me like something that was produced by a college kid with ADD on meth. Not worthy of any further reply.

I've seen that site before. Seems a bit sensational.

As far as what happened to the plane. Check this out. Bottom of page. "1988 Rocket Sled Test". If you click on the "F4 Test Video Stream" at the begining of the paragraph, It shows the whole test. Gets way cool from the middle on.

http://www.sandia.gov/news-center/video-gallery/

BTW, The engines were installed during this test. If anyone can find them, let me know.

No, we're talking about the Pentagon. Which is made or reinforced concrete, not steel. You were thinking of the WTC.

Watch the video again. The concrete itself might be reinforced, but it's not anchored to the ground. It moves.
