2000 ez billet grill inserts
A word to any one wanting to jazz up there excursion grill with the ez billet insert, I consider it a bad investment. [1] The ford eblem on the excursion is about 1/2" off center and the inserts are punched dead center. I fought it for hours until I measured it and discovered the problem. There is about a 1/2" gap under the emblem. doesn't look right.[2] The wing inserts are unbelievably a nightmare out of the box. With finaly figuring out I had to bend the threaded rod at about a 22 degree angle to line up the strap with the back of the grill piece I could get it to tighten down with out sliding around to one side or the other. If I had it to do over I would have bought a custom grill. Anyone else fought those and do you know if the pickups emblem is centered? I went back to the dealer and he said that it was right. Sorry for me it was installed- no refund.
