I have a 1995 F-150 that i recently installed a Rough country 4 inch lift on. I also replaced the tie rods and drag link. I know i need to get it aligned however when I reach 45 MPH the front end shimmy's violently could this be the cause?
measuring is not that acurate and 1/4 of a turn does make a diffrence if you take it to an alighnment shop they will probly tell you that you inners are bad just say no call a dealership and ask what the oem spec are for your app. the take it fron there you do have the fork to remove them reguardless you can get a loaner from autozone or if you are thinking of opening an allignment shop ya can buy one for 25 bucks off a tool truck
Mine too. I have just replaced the I beam pivot bushings and still have a shake on the left side. 2 wheel drive F350. Tires are almost worn out and I hope that is the problem. Could I have kingpin probs? Did they wear out the bushings or did the bushings tear up somthing on the spindle? The shaking was so violent when I was driving (before) that the whole truck would jump on the road. Only one bushing was really bad but the othe was a little displaced.
