need wing window frames for my 52 (need both),glass not really needed. also need one window lift for the regular door window. PLEASE help , I'm building it on a tight budget and need these . Thanks
I still have the vent window frames and division bars from my 48 which should be the same as your 52. I'm converting to one-piece glass but we are still in the middle of winter here and it will be 4-6 more weeks before I can get the garage opened and locate the stuff. As I remember it's in good condition but will need new rubber and the chrome on the vent handles isn't that great. I was going to put it on Ebay eventually anyway to recoup the cost of the one-piece glass kit. If you don't find anything by the time I can get my garage re-opened get back with me and maybe we can work out something. I might even have a spare window regulator also but won't know for sure until I re-assemble my doors.
ok, let me know. I have seen trucks with one piece glass-where do you get the one piece glass kits?
I got mine from www.vintageglass.com but I am not too happy about the instructions they provided. I will probably have to take mine to a glass shop to have them installed...
I'm going to put a one pieces glass in my 48 also. I think it looks alot better. Don't get me wrong the wing glass looks good to, but I like the one piece look.
Vern what was wrong with the instructions. I was going to buy the glass from them to. Did they not explain how to install the windows good or what. Thanks Scott

Scott,
There are no pictures at all. All the directions are written. There were two brackets that come with the kit for each door. One is a channel to be mounted on the forward side of the door but they don't tell you where it has to go and a second 'L' shaped bracket with no explanation of any kind as to how it's supposed to be used. They really need some pictures or drawings to help you with the installation.
