1988 302 MSD Distributor
Has anyone ever used a MSD distributor for an EFI Ford?
I called a dealer and according to the person that I talked to there are MANY different distributors for the different calibration codes of each engine. Yet, MSD makes 1 distributor that covers any 302 from the mid-eighties up to the mid-ninties (I forget the exact years).
Either the MSD cuts corners to cut costs so that they only have to make one distributor to cover all the different ones that Ford made or Ford made only one distributor and gave it a bunch of different part numbers just to make us consumers think that we have to buy from them to get the right part.
What are your thoughts on this?
