Ah, that makes sense! Coincidentally, the wife has had a BSEG since the day she got her X. Never seen a woman that likes the sound of a Flowmaster so much, or for that matter, wide open throttle on the highway.
yep shes got the fever of the bseg club. a big sh-t eating grin club. man is it catchie. any one find a way to loose it yet?
best wishes bob that truck you most likely will never get away from her unless it needs some fixing.
as to wifes mine is the same way, lead foot and i can't let her drive mine unless i'm with her. a sad note she got a 80 in a 55 last week with her liberty, guess i'll have to find a tuner that lets me road speed it to 65.
She was most impressed that the X will hold 80 on the freeway with no problem.
I can't seem to wipe the grin off, but I'm not sure I want to. You know the saying, If momma ain't happy, nobody's happy!
I do get to drive it though. She works nights mostly, and with my flexible work schedule, most times I spend the mornings taking the kids to school. Not much wheel time, but I'll take it.
And you're right about the repairs. It's her truck until it needs something, then it's "ours". I'm OK with that though, she works very hard (she's a nurse in a hospital ER), and has worked hard to get this truck. She deserves it, and all the BSEG's it induces.
Our beater car is getting long in the tooth and both of us scored very good jobs... I suggested getting her a new ride...she never lost a step...plainly said "only if it is a V10 truck!" Playing on line right now on Edmunds building and pricing F250 2x4 4 door King Ranches Much fun!
nurse! mine also just she's r n,, master deg ccrn, at the local hospitals icu .been for the last 19 years and loves it. yes they work hard 3 days a week 12 hour days plus 3/4 hour drive time each way. local around here means any thing under a 45 min drive. heck it takes 20 mins to get to my buddys shop and he's in the same town. 69 sq miles of every thing,
we had a bull running loose last week in the middle of town, sucker wieghed 1300 pounds . think he found out that he was the next meal for some of us. and took off for safty of the next town over.

edmunds. come on fred you know better. fords web site first. good luck
Well, North Providence is not as rural. Sometimes I wish it would take me longer to get to places, but it is nice having everything at your fingertips.
Here in RI, we suffer from the small state syndrome. If it takes longer than a half hour to get somewhere, it counts as a "road trip".
Not sure on other regions, but around here nurses are in huge demand. She could be working every day of the week if she wanted to, double shifts too. I won't let her though, that's too much. She feels bad saying no to them, but she needs down time too!
Although, if she worked more, I could get MY Excursion that much faster..... :P
nurse shortage here also, really it's nation wide. and our wifes just happen to be in the most needed areas er. icu and or, mine is grabbing a extra each week to help out with what we lost from my having to retire the hard way, but we are making ends and very happy yet,

This time get that moonroof, I was driving mine in a windstorm the other day and I thought I better close the roof visor in case a branch came down on the roof. WOW, what a difference, your bright open cab becomes a dark closed in space and it is all what you get used to. I love that moonroof, tilted, opened or just letting that light in.

Gee I wish I had one...
My wife's Cougar has one - pretty much a half-convertable, to me. It's open whenever the temp is above 55 degrees.
My first Triumph TR7 had one too. Not electric of course Darn-near the entire roof was gone when it was open.
