Rear end covers

Hey guys, Im looking to buy an rear end cover, question is that if I replace the rear do I have to repalce the front? I have a 2005 Superduty V10 4x4
Also I would like to install sending units on them.
What brands are there?
Thanks ~Gage~

Summit and Jeggs are good catalogs on line to see what is out there

No you don't have to replace both

Unless you plan a LOT of 4x4 hours there is no need to worry about a temp sender up front...just another thing to break and leak oil out of. I put one in the rear of my PSD a few years back.. once I saw the diff temp a few times I never ever looked again...very reliable system, oil temp won't tell you about leaks until it is too late... and the diff temp is so stable that no mater how easy or hard I worked in 2x4 oir4x4 the temp stayed the same. Look real cool but a waste of bucks in my humble opinion. MagHigtech makes about the best diff covers and trany pan...expect sticker shock!

10.5 inch ford. check my gallery and you can see how the mag- hytec ones look and they may cost a lot more but they are the caddy of covers. dip sticks to check the level, temp sender ports built in. o-ring to houseing seal. i also have the trans pan, but here i will say DO NOT DO IT TO A GAS MOTOR, you have to viod the cat warrenty and make a custom cross over ,that also is my gallery.

This may have been one of the most irrelevant statements I've seen in the history of FTE.

Either that or I'm toast... what do you MEAN?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Art , how could you be toast for asking a question? When I was down there , in 1969, it was all very, very tiny bikinis and the young ladies that wore them
were very well put together.

That is only type of rear end covers I will ever get excited about.
