power steering radiator??
Hi. I have two questions. I have a 70 f100 360. Number one is what is that little finned looking thing that goes to my power steering pump that looks like a little radiator?
#2 I have Air conditioning( I think). I dont have an air pump just a console underneath the dash. And on the front side of
the radiator is what looks like a tranny cooler, but it has a hose going to the heater core. I want to mount a tranny cooler. So is this part of the air con unit? do I have to disconnect it to run a tranny cooler? thanks for the help.

Do not disconnect it if it runs back to the heater core opening on the firewall. That's the A/C condenser.
At the bottom of your radiator you should see two small steel lines screwed into it. these lines run back to your trans.(auto).
The bottom of the radiator has a built in cooler tank for the transmission.
If you desire extra cooling of the Trans. you can run a external cooler off of one of those lines.
If room permits, mount the cooler in front of the condenser.
All Auto Parts Stores sell universal coolers from about $20.00 and up.
