05 SD headlights

will they fit on my 00 sd?

If you mean just the bulbs (doubt it) then no. I bought some 9007 bulbs and wiring harness for my truck by mistake and they don't fit. My friend with his '02 is very happy right now

As for the entire headlight fixture... did not look that close but I doubt it. If they changed the bulbs from 9007 to 9008 then they prolly changed other stuff as well. Mind ya, I am not 100% sure on that, just guessin.

bulbs are differnet h13's even have a very different plug

You can find some more in depth info if you do a search. I think you might be able but there is some heavy modification involved. But over the last year quite a few guys have talked about it
