Teflon tape?

Had one of our buddies loose a road race he was leading because his oil pressure sender on his Rabbit got a little piece of teflon tape in it and kicked on the warning light. Gage, go out and get the little 4oz bottle of Permatex teflon thread sealer. It comes with an applicator brush attached to the lid and should last you 2 or 3 lifetimes.

In a pinch, I've used RTV too. Or Permatex High-tack. I used to use teflon tape on everything, but got nervous about it after finding it in an oil pump pickup screen
