Lifted my X last night. 7" Donahoe Racing Edge lift, 16x10 Procomp Xtreeme Allloy chrome wheels, 12.50x37 Parnelli Jones Dirt Grip tires. Installation went well. The front spring bolts were a pain - required removal of the AC condensor mounts to get them out. Some minor trimming to the bumper valance and valance mount was required for tire clearance. I'm very pleased with the way it turned out. The truck rides much better than stock. Took it up to 80mph this morning with no unusual vibrations or noises. The stock brake lines are just about maxed out. I'll be installing some longer braided brake lines this week.
I take the truck has a v10. if so what does your gas mileage do now? I want the same but have been waiting to buy a diesel so i dont have to fill up every week. the truck looks great.
The lift/tire combination raised my truck 10" at the wheelwells. It's hard to measure the exact height, but it looks like 87-88" overall. If I were you, I'd pull your car through your garage door and measure the min clearance at the top. If you have 12" of clearance or more, then you'll have at least 2" clearance with the same setup as I have.
I have the 7.3 PSD. If you have a gas engine, the lift may be higher because of the lighter engine.
The larger tires should give better gas milage if you stay with the same gearing. If you regear the truck with 4.30 gears, it will put the overall gear ratio back close to the factory design and you gas milage will return to what it was before. The 4.30 gears will be easier on your transmission though, especially if you tow heavy loads.

Are you saying you will get better fuel mileage now that you have 37" tires? That may be true for a highway only vehicle that increases tire height a little without increasing tire width but increasing both height and width will not give better mileage. I have 35s and a V10 and lost about .5-1 MPG which is very acceptable.
Looking good. Kinda looks just a little like mine. Glad you live over there in Leonardtown. I dont think theres room for me and you in the same area. LOL

For cruisin at the same RPM on a flat road you should get better mpg with the larger tires, but you're right - once you factor in the effects of the higher gear ratio and accelerating and climbing hills, you'll probably end up burning more fuel with the larger tires once it's all said and done. I'll end up regearing mine before too long.
