Does anyone know if a plow frame from a 78 F150 4x4 will fir on a 72 F250 4x4? I do understand that there may need to be some cutting and welding. This is a Fisher setup. Has anyone done this type of swap of taking a plow frame from a 1/2 ton and putting it onto a 3/4 ton? I would just like some input on this.
I think the frame is wider on the 250 but a welding shop can make it fit about anything you need. I made a plow frame from a 78 blazer fit my 96 F-350 so anything is possible

What did you do with the information from this previous thread wherein you sought similar advice on this issue back in January??
Stockman, I still have the info you gave me from the post in Jan. That info was on a meyers setup, and was on an F250, this is on an F150.
John as much as the calander may say spring starts tomorrow, here in northern vermont winter is here and going strong with snow expected the end of this week. We have about another month of snow left here.
