For those of you that are too young to remember, there's the Grand-Daddy of all by pass filtration systems- FRANTZ !. Surprise, they're still around. My problem with the FS2500 is that the article in one of the magazines sort of danced around the costs involved and the manufacturers website was even less forthcoming and gave me the impression they were selling snakeoil.
Yeah.... the Frantz and the Motorguard go back a ways. Seems like folks like the design of the Motorguards better....they've evolved
into a better filter.
Nut
Well all I have to tell ya thanks for the info PSnut and Heat, I cancelled my order for the FS2500 and went down to OilGuard's manafacturing plant in Oceanside and bought me one. The plant was impressive to say the least. Roy and son were very nice and informative. I found out that they also manafacture or sell all the types of filters on my truck, and half the price too. Thanks again guys.

I pull one about every 3 months or 5-7000 miles. Cheap peace of mind.
