Kwik filter questions

I have seen pictures of this filter set up and was wondering how it is held in place other than the clamp on one end? I go out to the desert a lot and want to make sure it is kept in place somehow from bouncing around?

Mine just sits where wieckster described - has very little room to wiggle at all.

Others have made little brackets or strapped them down, but see how it fits first - you may find it just sits in their like it was made to go there, and won't need any hold-downs or mounts.

Same with me, it's very snug in there. Never had a problem with movement. As was already suggested, strap it down if you want more security.
