Lowering Kits
I was reading a recent copy of Southern Rodder Magazine and there was an article on a '65 F-100. Nice truck and they were talking abou the lowering kits from DJM(I think it was) a 3" for the front and a 4" for the rear. I was wondering if anyone had any information on these kits and were they are available??? if you know of any other, please let me know. I have a '71 that I am very interested in lowering so my wife can climb in easier.

try www.aimind.com they have I-beam drop beams instead of the round dream beams, I'm going with the I-beams when I get my income tax refund back. They have a 3" drop for the front for I think $400 or so , and a flip kit with C-sections for the back for about $150 but with the flip kit you can run traction bars to control wheelhop.

i aggree with FE427, i beams from AIM are the way to go. i have heard horror stories about the djm dream-beams, all about breaking... derrick, i too own a 71 custom, and i am installing the AIM i-beams this summer, they were $495, but worth it, they look very high quality, and almost factory.... please keep me posted on your truck, as i will do the same.... later and good luck.....
