don't mean to hijack the thread but my wife and I have joined the "host a soldier program" near us, we host soldiers who are far from home or who have no family. Hopefully, someone will do the same for our son while he's gone.

'Fenders,
Neva and I have been spending time with a young Navy couple that attend our church. I was a CT-M (Communications Tech-Maintenance) and he is a CT-I (Interpreter), so we have lots in common, other than the fact that I'm twice his age! See the thread about BB-Q in the Georgia forum to see what we did Saturday. When I was in the service, several senior enlisted familes took the time to give me the feeling of home-away-from-home, and we want do the same for these young folks.
