help decoding
I have just purchased a 65 f100 in good shape but am tring to decode this vin
F1JJL657245
or door tag
115 L F100 381 A 02
5000 12 4000 6
ANY HELP WOULD BE HELPFUL
coul not find a link for decoding in this forum, or looked in wrong area

Hey Dave, Welcome to FTE
You want to go back and look at your tag again. See if the first J is a 0 and the second is a D. There were no Js in the serial number. The F10 would be a half ton and the D would be for a I6 engine, the L for the plant it was built and the rest is it's indivigual build number.
