I already know it's an F100 with the 360 built in San Jose. I think that's about all the info you can get from the VIN, correct?
Also, I have listed "M3" color and trans "17", and "3 81F" is also on there, but I can't tell what it's supposed to mean. It doesn't look like there is anything stamped under "Axle" either.
Well, I finally had a chance to look at the door tag - here's what's on it:
Top line is the VIN
Second line:
131 M3 F100 3 81 F 17
Third line:
05000 172 3800 74
Most of it I have already figured out - 131 is wheelbase, M3 is color Yucatan Gold/Wimbledon White, F100 duh, 3, 81, F and 17 have me stumped, mostly because they do not really line up with any of the preprinted stuff on the tag. 05000 is the GVWR, 172 us net hp of the 360 @ 3800 rpm, and 74 I'm pretty sure is the ordering district - Seattle - which makes sense because I know the truck was previously titled in Oregon.
Sounds about right. Looks like the truck is all original, which is nice. I have seen paint color charts around, but do you have a link to the interior trim colors?
