Wlecome to FTE! Sounds like you have a nice ride ... post some pic's make a gallery let's see it. This sight is awsome a wealth of information and a bunch of nice people too. Again welcome.
whether intentionally or accidently, you've found the place with the nicest bunch of guys and the most authoritative information you can find on old Ford trucks... we'll also tell you how to run your life, wash your dog and mess up any stable relationship you might have... (if you need us to). Did I mention we're all handsome too ???
Be sure to start up a gallery...post some pics, and fill us in on your truck and your plans for it... we love pictures.... we're all attracted by shiny objects.
We're basically broken up in to two loose camps.. (some with tents) the restoration guys who want their truck to look just like Henry did it (but better) and us that want to build THEIR idea of what Henry SHOULD have done... i.e. customize .... build a 'street truck' we're also known as (dun..dun..da dunnnnnnn) "THE DARKSIDERS" . (We're really the cool guys to hang out with... )
If you happen to run across Himmelburg... don't offer him food... it sometimes messes up his meds and it's the devil to get him back to regular again... join in, either camp... or hoist your own flag.... have fun and never be afraid to ask questions... if we can't dazzle you with brilliance... well, you know the rest... and we're good at it !!!
Welcome aboard. FTE truly is a great place to hang out. I can't say enough about the guys and gals who are members here. They go out of their way to help everyone (especially me it seems).
I am sort of stuck in the middle. I am not a restorer or a "darksider". I just drive and enjoy my truck. It will get "modified" slightly over time to make it more enjoyable to drive though.
Post up pics when you get time. We all do love to see pics.
Welcome to FTE, So you will soon be an Addict (This site will be your drug & This will be your support group). Post some pics, it will help us all with any tech questions (so we can see what you are talking about) and we all like to boast and bragg about our stuff.
Welcome to our little world. This is step 1-admitting you have an old Ford truck problem. The remaining 11 steps don't really matter here as we only focus on step 1.
