I don't know about the drivetrain, but the body alone could easilly draw $3,000 for the right buyer.
Very nice truck, what engine, transmission, ect.... and what condition, rebuilt?
Also, do you have any pics of the drivetrain or interior.
302, A/T, A/C,P/S, My dad bought it new for my grandpa and dad gave it to me a few years ago. The interior is in perfect shape. I could park it in the show room and you would almost think it was new! runs perfect! It shows 38,000 miles on odometer, and dad never really drove it, but i'm sure it has to be 138,000. I been looking at trucks all over the place and $3,000 to $5,000 seems way to low for this truck. I know I wouldn't even think about selling it that low!!
Keep in mind pops was a Ford parts Manager for 30 plus years and do ya think this baby didn't get taken care of. I havn't had to do a thing to it.

I got my 77 F-100 from my dad, and he got it from my Grandpa also, but mine isn't in as good of condition.
I was saying the body alone could easilly sell for $3,000.
You said the interior is perfect, and the drivetrain is good, then add on a good $2,000-$3,000, but just to say in my area there are alot of these trucks around in decent condition, but still could get around $6,000 for it(IN MY AREA). I've heard of people with trucks in similar condition to yours sell for $15,000-$20,000, but never where I live.
This is what I've seen around Northern California so YMMV. My '01 isn't that clean. Very pretty. It would be worth a bit more if it were a '75 because it would no longer have to smog, but if it runs as clean is it looks??? I am sure that you could quickly find a buyer in the $5-7k range. If it were a 4x4 you might get an additional $2k on top of that.
Of course, if you found that one special buyer... One never really knows.

Getting some interesting replys on what value my truck is worth, I been doing a little bit of checking on e-bay and truck trader etc, And there are trucks selling that are not even close to this condition for $5,000 to $8,000.I guess if I do have to sell her I'll put it on e-bay and see what happens. Thanks for the replys.

That is why a professional appraiser is the correct and only way to get a value. All we can do here is give wild guesses. Please see the information in the Read First: FAQ thread at the top of the forum.
Nice. Put on some wheels, pull off the cap, garage it, and show it. Enjoy driving it and having a little bit of sentimental family history. The insurance and taxes will be cheap. I would imagine with the history that 38,000 miles is accurate if the interior shows no wear. Check the pads on the pedals, the carpet, and the floormats. If they aren't worn, then the mileage is probably true.
I would not put a value on it. This is because I would not part with it, and you can not price that. Finding one that clean is every truck collecters dream.
Well, color is a personal preference JoeBlow.... Mine is the same brown and I love it! ... and hey! your two tone in your gallery has the same color on it too! To each his own, huh?
If I was in a situation thsat you are now in ,where a truck like this landed in my lap I know I would keep it and probally for life not only cause its a nice clean vintage Ford but also the fact being that the truck was my Grandfathers and my Fathers and now its mine yes i would keep it
( sorry didnt mean to get al Freakish but it is a ford )
