Carter Carb ?

Anyone here know of a website that I could find the spec's on a couple AFBs that I have?
I can't find any information on anything before Edelbrock took them over.
Any help here would be great.
Thanks, Ken

I think they are performance AFBs.
How can you tell the difference?
They aren't thermoquads

What is the number stamped in the bottom front of the carb? Like 9605 or something? Federal Mogul used to own them.

The 9400 is a 400 cfm,Chevrolet application, the 9636 is a 625 cfm designed for a Chrysler application. I am sorry, but I do not have any info on jet or metering rod sizes.

Putt,
Thanks for the help.
The 400 is what I had planned on using on my Jeep and it should be perfect for it.
The 625 will be going on the 390 after I rebuild the carb.
One more thing, do you know of any website that I could find this information on because I have seen this question asked in the past on another board

Thanks for your help,
Ken
