Looking for data.
I'm talking an everyday Joe: Stock setting, pos 1, 2, 3, etc.. Just thinking that if a otherwise stock 7.3 puts to the rear wheels around 200 horsepower, does it get a full 120 hp benefit to the rear wheels and show 320? Or is there a laundry list of other mods needed in order to gain that full 120 hp claim?
I don't doubt that the chip provides one of the highest Smile Factor measurements when compared to other diesel performance chips or tuners.
Just curious about the raw data and not seat of the pants feel. Regardless, I'm not racing the 7,000 # monster, not trying to shave tenths of a second or trying to pull an M1A1 tank, just curious that's all.
Once I take the leap to the darkside, I will try to do exactly what I'm asking for above. I will take a pre-mod baseline pull, the install the DP chip and run pulls on each setting.
Thanks for sharing the info if you are able to, Todd</O
