Can't find a disel Excursion
Are diesel Excurions really rare???
I've been trying to find a used 2000ish Excursion, and can;t find nothing. I don;t mean I can't decide on one, or haven;t found a nice one yet. I am saying I can't find one. As a matter of fact, I have only found 2 for sale, and both were VERY high miles, and 5.4/6.8...
The only one I can find are in Texas???
Anyone have any ideas where I can get a used Diesel Excursion in the South? I'm in north Alabama? Anyone aroud here got any wholesale contact or anaything???

I've looked at EBay, and every local and every semi-local lot I can find. And all kinds of classifieds.
I see several in Ebay, actually passed up one that appeared perfect, just wasn't comfortable enough. I asked for a few more pics, and he siad he couldn't get them before the close of auction, which at the time was 3 days away...
Seems like they're all in texas, and want a pretty immediate deposit, etc etc.
I can do 200-400 miles, but 500+ is getting too far....
Guess I'll keep looking!

Got the last 05' from the dealer... good friend of mine is sales manager at local Ford Dealer, and i got employee price on my Eddie Baur 4 x 4 . They are really rare to find them used. They last forever, so why would anyone give it up..... Be patient, one is bound to catch your eye. Good Luck

Like the others above, try Autotrader. That's what I did. I found our 2002 PSD Ex 4x4 in Chicago. Had only 26K miles, and was under $30K. It was like new and I jumped right on it. Had a free ticket on America West and picked it up 2 days later. I was planning to buy in Denver or Salt Lake because they had a better selection, but the dealers wanted a fortune. One dealer in Salt Lake was offended that I made an offer. So my moral of the story is you may find what you are looking for maybe even better outside of where you want to go.

Found mine on Autotrader. Been looking for a couple of months.
Was ready to drive to Charlotte, but they sold the one I was interested in.
Ended up finding almost exactly what I would have ordered new 7 miles away.
Keep looking, you will find one.
