I was considering buying some adjustible rockers for my 390 but they are costly.Anyways a friend of mine was telling me the early model ford 352's had solid lifters and adjustible rocker's is this true if they came out with factory adjustible rockers for my engine and I new what year I could possibly find one in a junk yard for a good price.
Actually several others came with them too. 390 TBirds just to name one. I look all the time and I've never seen one set. The other problem is wear, IF you can find a set, you'll be looking at something 30~40 years old, and the rockers tend to wear the bushings on the bottom side and at the tip where it touches the valve.
I see new sets for $167 and ductile iron ones for $200, that seems too much when you consider that Harland Sharp roller rockers for the FE are just about $100 more. I've got some ticking sounds on mine and it seems to be from the valve so I've been looking for a cheap set to see if they help any. EBay won't help either, I've seen those go for as much as new.
I think this guy wants $125 for a set http://www.carlsfordparts.com/
This guy wants about the same and has the ductile iorn ones for $175. He regularly posts on EBay, but I'm not sure how much a used setup goes for. He does have a good rep.

It seems Ford just didn't make enough of these as stock equipment.
