Hi all,

If you've read my previous post, I am about to try to start my truck after undergoing an engine swap. I kept the 3 speed (on the column). I put the truck in neutral when I took the old I6 and trans out. Unfortunately, the trans is no longer in neutral. How do I find neutral with this transmision? There are 2 L shaped rods coming of the trans that the linkage to the steering column hooks up to. Each rod has three positions. I need to know which positions are nuetral. Trans is hooked up and ready to go except for this problem.

Can anyone help?

Jayson, if I remember correctly the center positions are the neutral positions. To verify, slide a yoke into the tailshaft and see if it turns freely.
