What is your career?

So what is it that you guys do for a living??

I am a Network Administrator for a small software company in Glenwood IA. Before that I was a Systems Administrator in Council Bluffs at a place called Telmar Network Technology (Formerly Allied Communications) in Lake Manawa (the big blue buildings next to Tractor Supply for those that know where it is).

What were their names? I was in security for a year (late 99-2000) before moving to I&C.

I am a software developer for UPRR in Omaha. I've been doing programming/software related work since 1988 when I graduated from college. Before coming to Omaha, I used to work for a couple different big consulting companies while living in Colorado and Montana.

I'm still in high school right now, but I work part time at Farmer's Bank & Trust in Nebraska City as a teller and also for my fathers construction company. I plan to go to college for something agriculture related(probably feedlot management) and go to work down around Pratt, Kansas(where my dads from).

Im currently retired for now. I go to college full time im working on getting my bachelors degree in Automotive Technology. Im on my second year of school and it seems like it never ends but I enjoy doing what I do.

I start my internship this summer so ill be working then. Maybe I should scope out the Ford dealers and work at their Service Department. I allready end up getting a offer for Georges Volvo but its too much of a commute and I hate Volvo's.
