Hey Polarbear, how accurate are the NADA and/or KBB trade-in values? If someone is real honest when they evaluate their own vehicle and get a trade-in value, how confident can they be that they will actually get that much at the dealership?
Out here kbb is fairly accurate as a whole-value guideline for an average to above-average condition vehicle. I personally think they're a little low if the unit is in exceptional condition- that 1 in 10 trade-in that's in perfect shape. Hope that helps.
Thanks,
I paid WAY-Under value for my truck due to the dealership woes I was having. Since this is the case I am trying to determine what it's "really" worth. If NADA is accurate, I may trade it for something else that suits my original desires. I wasn't looking for a full-size truck when I started. i just kinda ended up with one
