Back in July 04 Jeff was very helpful in negotiating a price for my 04 F150. He told me exactly what i should pay for the truck knowing i wasnt buying from him. I paid exactly what Jeff said i should. I always said that my next truck purchase would be from Jeff because he was so helpful. Now fast forward a year and I Lost my 04 in Hurricane Katrina. Being a contractor I had to purchase a truck immediately so i bought a used 150 for work and then in November contacted Jeff about ordering my dream truck, a 2006 Harley Davidson F 250. He said he could sell it 500 below invoice just like every other vehicle they sell. Local dealers will barely come off sticker because everyone here needs vehicles. I placed my order with Jeff and i must say he was very helpful with choosing options and keeping me updated throughout the entire build process. My truck arrived in New York the week between Christmas and New Years and planed to fly up and pick it up the weekend after New Years. As some of you can imagine being a contractor here is crazy and the closer it got i found myself looking for other ways to take delivery than me spending 2 days flying there and driving back. Jeff suggested it may be possible for him to bring it to me if i covered his expenses. This sounded great to me so we went for it. He arrived here friday with my new truck, Had all the paperwork handled within minutes and off we went to tour New Orleans, eat some seafood and head to the airport. I must say My whole experience with Jeff was wonderful just wish we had more time in New Orleans. He is one of the nicest people i have ever met. He even called me later that night to check on things from the airport in Atlanta which meant a lot to me. If anyone out there is considering a purchase from Jeff Dont hesitate. He will go the extra distance to make your buying experience very pleasureable. Heck I dont think i will ever buy a ford from anyone else, Just next time I will some how find the time to fly up there and see how Yankee living is . Thanks Nick (extreme1)
Great story man! Glad to hear that things worked out and that you were able to make a deal through Jeff and that Jeff went the extra mile, or 1200 miles, to make it worth it to you.
I know it must be rough down there in New Orleans but I'm glad to hear a good story from there.
I still say that we need to get a sticky posted for Jeff and Polar Bear testimonials!
When we last spoke you told me what a stand up guy Jeff was and I am glad to hear that your experience was so pleasant. I live in Chalmette and I 've got so much on my plate right now that I don't know if I'm coming or going right now. I'm glad to hear that there is still some honest dealers out there because one reason I have not purchased my new truck yet, I lost 2 F-150s in Katrina ('84 & '00), is because of the vultures around here taking advantage of their own people in crisis. The dealerships are no exception as you have mentioned. It's a shame but it's true. I'm glad you were able to find another way like you did with Jeff Clark. I only hope my experience will be remotely as pleasant as your was.
