wire harness question

Just got in my order of Infinitys 6 x 8 speakers (model 6812cf) from Crutchfield and they sound great! put them in front and back of my 99 ranger, now to my question, the included speaker wire harness is cool and I like it, (for connecting the speaker to the factory harness) BUT the gauge of the wire harness is smaller than the ford speaker wire, My question is will this affect the performance of the speaker? my thoughts are it should affect it. and if so I'm the kinda guy who would go find something else to put in there just cause. I am having installed a eclipse head unit this weekend at Circit City (they just got em in) and I want things done right. btw also got a wireing harness for the head unit and that looks smaller gauge also.

i doubt it. speakers running 50 wats (which these arnt) arnt going to draw enough current to need much more than what crutchfield would supply. your head unit no matter what it is is prolly not putting more than 15-20 at each channel. you should be fine. enjoy the new speakers!
