I bought 2 sets of Ford 8-lug rims today @ the Charlotte Autofair. Both sets are 16.5" and stamped Ford on the bolt plate. One set is the standard width ri, while the other set are about 10-12" wide w/ a rib (about 2" thick) before the bolt plate. I've never seen rims like this before. The guy said that they were Camper Special rims (I was buying them anyway). I took them over to a buddy of mine who owned three Camper Specials and he verified that they are. I wonder what they are worth, good shape, no bends or rust, but could use a coat of paint. Thanks, Doc

Hey Doc,
What are you looking to get out of the wheels? I need a couple for my spare tires. They fit the older trucks, but rub the tie rods on the newer trucks
Are you interested in only the Camper Special Wheels or the other set of rims? I'm condidering selling both sets. E-mail me @ doc_f250(No Email Addresses In Posts!) and we'll work something out. Thanks, Doc

Solid,
I put the rims on my '78 F-250 2wd (w/ 33/12.50-16.5 tires) and they fit great! The tie rods were about 1/2" from the rim, but cleared fine. Thanks, Doc
