Directed to WM JOE. Beleive me im not competing with you but I just
got another F9. Just drove in a 1953 F900 complete and out of service,
sorry but destined to be another dump truck. Another perfect running
317 12,000 fr and 44 rear which I have never seen (8" axle flange).
Ok when or if it ever warms up > all the reels electric works perfect,
siren Federal with the red wobble no dents or scratches mid ship pump,
I will have to take measurements of the lengh of the body. Im not
scraping anything Ill just put all in boxes in storage, so later on keep in
touch,
Also I will do some research on the four door trucks. New in 1956 I
remember local power co. saw them every day 10 wheel all wheel drive,
winch on front 4 door crew cabs yellow air scoops on hood air brakes,
and they set I think a little higher than a 9000 Louie. And a few years
ago I saw unsure but 53-55 F 350 Four door crew cab go by. also all
wheel drive. They seem to be a ghost unsighted by a camara that can't
be proved. Now the question is, is this somthing Marmon H. did or a
body company did, or did FoMoCo' special products division build these
cabs? I can't find anything on the net about them. But I saw them with
my own eyes in the 50's!!!!

Yeah dang it, we want pics. I WANT FENDERS. You can't have more than me .... I want the biggest collection of Big Jobs. I'm gonna cry. Hey, maybe between the two of us, we have the largest combined collection of Big Jobs. Hey capt. if you go to Iowa, and bring me my fire truck, I'll give you the rotater off of the roof. You'll need to get a red lens for it, because its orange. Hey big job, I NEED SOME PARTS. I WANT TO SEE PHOTOS.
That's great..... I STILL WANT PARTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We need to figure out the exact center of the distance between us, and move in next door to eachother. We can get ajoining property lines, and we just won't put up a fence between the area where the trucks will sit.
Hello, we still want photos, and I still need parts. A FTE member hasn't returned any e-mails, and i want to buy his truck. He's ignoring me. Do you have any parts available yet?

A few months ago a local farmer had a railroad truck up on Ebay - it was a 48, I think. It did have a 4 door cab done by a body company, and MH 4wd. Wish now I had kept a copy of the photos. Anyway, I beleive you, even without camara.
There was a body company that built crewcabs back in the day. They were available by special order to fire depts, RR, govern. etc., and from the little bit of searching I have done, they were not made for the general public. The company got whatever they needed from whatever manufacturer, and made the conversion. I cannot remember the name of the company at this time, but I will see if I can find it. There were very, very few of these trucks built, and the ones built were of a commercial size or grade.
