New system help
I have a pioneer HU and the typical 4 speakers. I would like to add 2 small subs under the rear seats along with an amp.
I also do a lot of tailgating and would like to put speakers in the toolbox in the bed.
I know how to install the amp but the wiring has me confused. How do I run 4 speakers and 2 subs when the h/u only has the 4 outputs.
Now for the big question.
How do I wire the speakers in the bed of the truck so that I can turn them on and off as needed.
I have a lot of ideas but dont have the knowledge. Please help get this truck going before spring tailgating!!!
Thanks
Aaron

as for the speakers. you will have 4 speakers outputs, and 2 rca's for subs. use them as directed. then put a switch on the line (a three way switch) than splice it to run your speakers to your tooldbox. when you flip the switch it will turn off the say rear speakers, and turn on your toolbox. the problem with running all of them at once is your head unit wont have enough power. so this is why i would implement the switch
